Applicants for the spring 2016 semester at Lehigh Carbon Community College are invited to attend the Fast Track One Stop Registration event at LCCC’s Donley Center in downtown Allentown Dec. 5. The event, which will be held 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., will provide new applicants with an opportunity to complete multiple registration steps in one day.

The Donley Center is located at 718 W. Hamilton St., Allentown.

Attendees will be able to complete placement testing, meet with an academic advisor, register for classes, complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid, arrange for a tuition payment plan or pay spring semester tuition.

Applicants and prospective students will have the opportunity to meet faculty representatives from the academic programs offered at the Donley Center including early childhood education, business administration, psychology, social work, human services and criminal justice. Students can learn about class requirements, transfer opportunities and career options.

Students interested in registration at the event are asked to register online at www.lccc.edu/fasttrack or by calling 610-799-1575.

LCCC will offer a second Fast Track One Stop Registration event on its main campus in Schnecksville 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 9, 2016.

Spring semester classes start Jan. 15, 2016.

ST. LUKE’S SINGERS

The St. Luke’s Singers will present its 2015 Christmas Concert 3 p.m. Nov. 29 at Wesley Methodist Church, 2540 Center St., Bethlehem.

Tickets may be obtained by calling 610-759-6325 or by visiting the hospital gift shops.

The prelude selections begin 2:45 p.m. The brass players, organist, percussionist, flautist and guitarist will provide holiday selections.

The Singers’ former accompanist, Romaine Laury, joins the current accompanist Brian Snyder at the keyboard for a special four-handed piano accompaniment of “Bring a Torch, Jeannette, Isabella.”

The St. Luke’s Singers is the only hospital-based choir in Eastern Pennsylvania and annually performs a winter holiday and spring concert. Each year the group chooses a different beneficiary within the hospital community.
