Fire company selling potato filling

Dinner delights! Germansville Fire Company is selling its oh-so-tasty potato filling and bacon dressing just in time for Thanksgiving.

Place orders no later than Nov. 23 by calling 610-767-4400.

Orders are sold by the pound, which serves approximately two people.

If you would like to have a little left over for the next day, be sure to order plenty.

Bring your own container for the filling between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Nov. 25, in the upstairs kitchen of the fire company.

Thanks for your continued support of this fundraiser.

With the fire company in mind, don’t forget the fire company’s facilities are available to rent and may be reserved by contacting Doris Koenig at 610-767-3778.

Girl’s night out! Heidelberg Church’s Women of Faith group will meet 7 p.m. Nov. 23 in fellowship hall. Women of all ages are welcome.

This busy bunch of ladies is full of activity and will be making fresh pine wreaths to enjoy this holiday season.

Fresh greens will be provided for those who are without a wreath.

If anyone has greens they would be willing to donate, someone from the group would be happy to pick them up.

For further information, call Eleanor Klevenhagen at 610-841-9803.

All retirees from the community are welcome to come and enjoy the festivities.

Bring a covered dish to share, along with a wrapped gift so you can play the game called “Now you have it. Now you don’t.”

Those interested in participating, may call Katherine Blose at 610-336-0555.

Just a thought! It doesn’t matter if the glass is half empty or half full. Be thankful you have a glass and there’s something in it.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
