EHS STUDENT HONORED
Kristin Erle, of Macungie, recently was named Emmaus Woman’s Club “Girl of the Month” for September.
Erle was recognized for her accomplishments in music.
Erle plays violin in the Young People’s Philharmonic. She also studies harp and participates in the Emmaus High School band, orchestra and choral programs. Erle is a member of the groups Chamber and Symphonia, both affiliated with the EHS orchestra and Chorale, Women’s Choir, Select Choir and AccaBella, all affiliated with the choral program at the high school.
Erle also plays piano and guitar and is a founding member of the music group Maplewood Trio.
“My plan for the future is to attend West Chester University to major in music education. Music has always been a passion of mine and I would love the opportunity to share my knowledge and appreciation of it with children. I plan to continue learning new instruments and anticipate that my love of music will continue to grow throughout my lifetime,” Erle said.
Erle is a daughter of Dr. Mark and Michele Erle.
