MISSION

Volunteers are needed to help homeless men this Thanksgiving. Allentown Rescue Mission is looking for groups to request donations from patrons at area food stores. Allentown Rescue Mission will provide all necessary materials, transportation of donated goods and shirts for volunteers.

Each group commits to a day and a location and then shows up for the service opportunity. The Thanks for Giving Food and Supplies drive will be held 4-7 p.m. Nov. 20 and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 21.

Giant Food Stores and the following Walmart stores also are participating: MacArthur Road, Whitehall; Mill Creek Road, Trexlertown; Linden Street, Bethlehem; and Route 248, Easton.
