At the Nov. 4 meeting of the Washington Township supervisors, the land development known as the At-Home facility was given conditional approval.

The proposal was tabled two months ago because there were too many conditions remaining, most of which have been addressed.

The Department of Environmental Protection is responsible for the questions still to be taken care of such as a water flow rate.

Two buildings on the 40 acres are from 1997, one of which is two story.

All new buildings are to be one story. Two buildings will be for personal care, one as a hospice, one for memory patients, and there is room for both short and long-term care.

A request for a waiver has to be presented in writing.

One acre in the Parkland area will have no construction.

The remaining 39 acres are in Washington.

In other matters, the 2016 tax rate remains the same at .3 mills. The general budget is $1,485,308.

The sewer account is for $504,012.

A fire hydrant and street light account is for $18,007. The state highway account is for $343,489. The state limits the uses for which this fund can be used.

The budget will be advertised and on display at the municipal office.
