PPL line

A public meeting on a proposed electricity line will be held 6 - 8 p.m. Oct. 28, Upper Saucon Fire Company Social Quarters, 4900 Lanark Road, Center Valley, Upper Saucon Township.

A portion of the Elliot Heights transmission is to be ugraded through Laubach Park, Salisbury Township.

The PPL Electric Utilities transmission line is part of its Hosensack line upgrade from its Lower Milford Township substation, through Upper Saucon, Lower Saucon and Salisbury townships.

The line is part of a service upgrade to 9,300 customers.
