Northwestern Lehigh having Trick-or-Treat Night on Oct. 31

Trick-or-Treat Night for Northwestern Lehigh will be 6-8 p.m. on Oct. 31. There is no rain date.

Tell your little zombies, minions and princesses to get their costumes ready and be sure to reinforce their candy bags.

Mark your calendars for “the best spaghetti in the Lehigh Valley.”

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will host its annual spaghetti dinner 4-7 p.m. Nov. 7.

Menu includes spaghetti with homemade meatballs, salad, garlic bread, beverages and homemade desserts.

There will also be cherry crumb pies and apple dumplings for sale.

Walk-ins are welcome.

Morgenland is also having its annual homemade Christmas candy sale.

All candy is made completely by hand, and most varieties are offered in both milk and dark chocolate.

Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Pantry, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, will be accepting donations to stock shelves 9-11 a.m. Oct 31.

Donations can also be made by appointment by calling 610-298-2054 or Nancy Holbrook at 610-674-2440.

Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Barbara Kistler at lowhillfoodpantry.com.

The pantry is currently seeking the following items for donation: canned chili, hearty soups, stews, chicken and dumplings, and always cereal.

Families who qualify for food items in the pantry are also welcome to select from the new and gently used clothing, toys and household items donated to the Blessings Shop.
