Country Meadows of Allentown recently served as the gathering site for representatives of numerous exhibitors and state agencies offering senior citizen services.

The goal of the expo as Ellen Millard-Kern, chief of staff for state Senator Pat Browne, R-16th, stated, “[is] so that seniors know all the services available to them.”

Members of the community joined Country Meadows residents in browsing exhibits and meeting representatives for a wide range of community programs.

Lehigh Valley Health Network provided free flu shots, and information pertaining to veterans’ services was available at the Pennsylvania Mobile Veterans’ Outreach Van.

The expo opened the door for seniors to gain insight into developing and/or maintaining a healthy lifestyle, to explore all types of assistance, or to just investigate possibilities.
