State Police Troop M Bethlehem say the driver of a 2013 Toyota Camry sustained moderate injuries and her 4-year-old passenger sustained a major injury in a one-vehicle crash just after midnight Oct. 5.

Police say Corinna L. Brown, 35, of Kempton, was driving east on Holbens Valley Road, just west of Five Points Road, Weisenberg Township, when her car crossed the white fog line to the right.

The car went off the roadway, struck a utility pole, shearing it off at the base, and then hit a fence and a tree, where it came to a final rest.

Brown, who police say was wearing a seat belt, and her passenger, who was in a child safety seat, were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, by Cetronia Ambulance Corps.

Weisenberg Township volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.

Stews Tire Service towed the car.
