Two men are being sought in a robbery in which cash was taken at gunpoint and one person was injured.
According to a press release from Pennsylvania State Police, two men arrived at a residence in the 5000 block of Westfield Drive, Lower Macungie Township, around 6:40 p.m. Oct. 1 to complete an arranged purchase of a comic book collection. When the men got to the residence they were confronted by three other men. One of the purchasers was struck on the head while the other was held at gun point. A struggle started and two of the suspects fled on foot after taking a bag containing a large amount of cash. The third man was kept at the scene by the men who were attacked.
The home where the robbery took place was found to be unoccupied and listed for sale. The firearms used in the incident were recovered and found to be pellet guns.
The suspects who fled the scene are described as a dark-skinned male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a stocky build and a light-skinned male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a medium build. The vehicle was an older model maroon Honda coupe with a loud exhaust.

Witthaya Vanhorne, 23, of Macungie, was charged with allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop for several equipment violations along East Main Street, Macungie borough, 7:29 p.m. Sept. 20. Charges were filed through District Court 31-2-03.
An 18-year-old Alburtis male was taken into custody and charged with allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at Lower Macungie Road and Church Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 8:05 p.m. Sept. 23. Charges were filed through District Court 31-2-03.
Walker Thomas Haines, 23, of Macungie, was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic accident on Gehman Road at Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, around 4:33 a.m. Sept. 29. Haines allegedly was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed through District Court 31-2-03.
Fanli Deleon, 26, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and a 9mm handgun after an alleged traffic stop at Main Street and Emmaus Avenue, Emmaus borough, 12:12 a.m. Sept. 26. According to police, Deleon did not have a concealed carry permit for the gun. Charges were filed through District Court 31-2-03.
Justin Milton Shenk, 30, of Macungie, was taken into custody and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after police were called to a hit-and-run accident in the 4000 block of Main Road West, Upper Milford Township, about 11:45 p.m. Sept. 23. Shenk was located following the accident. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-03.
Michael Ellis Rushing Jr., 37, of Emmaus, was taken into custody and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a traffic stop along Emmaus Avenue at Mountain Lane, Allentown, 12:10 a.m. Sept. 16. Rushing also allegedly had a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the time. Charges were filed through District Court 31-1-04.
A Bechtelsville man faces retail theft charges after he allegedly attempted to remove $696.95 in merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:35 p.m. Sept. 29. According to police, the man entered the store and placed various items in a plastic tote and attempted to leave the store. He was confronted by store personnel and fled the store leaving the items. Store personnel saw the vehicle’s registration plate as he fled and the registered owner was identified as the man later charged. During the investigation police determined the same man removed $602.46 of merchandise from the same store Sept. 23. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.
Jill E. Ruhnke, 43, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft after she allegedly removed $371.61 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, between Sept. 3 and Sept. 28. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.
Reported by a resident in the 2500 block of Chardonnay Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors threw eggs at three parked vehicles between 10 p.m. Sept. 25 and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 26.
Reported by a resident in the 4800 block of Pine Grove Circle, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors damaged metal cross bars to a patio roof support between Sept. 29 and Oct. 1.
Reported by a resident in the 7300 block of Hillcrest Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors removed a nylon bag containing a black Nokia phone and a Magellen GPS navigation unit worth $110 from a curb 5 p.m. Sept. 24. The nylon bag was curbside in front of the residence and near three trash bags. The investigation continues.
Reported in the 7100 block of Carls Hill Road, Upper Milford Township, unknown actors removed a metal pole from the property between midnight and 9 a.m. Sept. 26. The investigation continues.
Reported in the 6900 block of Sunflower Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors damaged a car between noon Aug. 27 and 1:15 p.m. Aug. 28. The investigation continues.
Reported by a resident in the 1400 block of Beverly Hills Road, Lower Milford Township, unknown actors opened three store credit card accounts using the resident’s personal information. The investigation continues.
Reported by a resident in the 5600 block of Kraussdale Road, Lower Milford Township, unknown actors used debit card information to make online purchases Sept. 28. The investigation continues.
