Morgan Blickley
Q: What grade are you in?
A: I am in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.
Q: What is your favorite subject? Why?
A: Last year, it was Advanced Placement chemistry because my teacher was great and really helpful, but this year it is government and economy C.P. because my teacher is hilarious.
Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A: I received the Academic Excellence Award twice, the Passion for Science Award and I became a National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society member last year.
Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?
A: I played cello in the orchestra for three years, but I had to quit this year because I couldn’t fit it in my school schedule.
Q: What is your next goal after high school?
A: I want to go to the University of Georgia for pre-veterinary studies and then attend veterinary school.
Q: What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?
A: It was probably keeping up with all the homework; ironically, I get less homework in four A.P. classes than I did when I had several honors classes.
Q: What do you want to be remembered for?
A: It would be for working hard to achieve my goals in life.
Q: Who is in your family?
A: My mom, Judy, my dad, Robert and my bunny, Zeus.
Q: Do you have someone you look up to?
A: I always admired Dr. Paul Donovan, the veterinarian who founded Alburtis Animal Hospital.
Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?
A: My advice would be to work hard now because you’ll reap the benefits later since hard work always pays off.
