Q: What grade are you in?

A: I am in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.

Q: What is your favorite subject? Why?

A: Last year, it was Advanced Placement chemistry because my teacher was great and really helpful, but this year it is government and economy C.P. because my teacher is hilarious.

Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A: I received the Academic Excellence Award twice, the Passion for Science Award and I became a National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society member last year.

Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A: I played cello in the orchestra for three years, but I had to quit this year because I couldn’t fit it in my school schedule.

Q: What is your next goal after high school?

A: I want to go to the University of Georgia for pre-veterinary studies and then attend veterinary school.

Q: What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?

A: It was probably keeping up with all the homework; ironically, I get less homework in four A.P. classes than I did when I had several honors classes.

Q: What do you want to be remembered for?

A: It would be for working hard to achieve my goals in life.

Q: Who is in your family?

A: My mom, Judy, my dad, Robert and my bunny, Zeus.

Q: Do you have someone you look up to?

A: I always admired Dr. Paul Donovan, the veterinarian who founded Alburtis Animal Hospital.

Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?

A: My advice would be to work hard now because you’ll reap the benefits later since hard work always pays off.
