Chad Grate, 36, of Bethlehem, was given a citation for disorderly conduct 12:49 p.m. Sept. 25 following a traffic stop for a cracked windshield while in the 1200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard. While speaking with Grate, Salisbury police allegedly noticed a marijuana odor coming from the car.

A trauma nurse at Lehigh Valley Health Network, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Boulevard, reported 2:22 p.m. Sept. 26 her iPhone 6 was removed from a computer cart. Police reviewed security cameras, saw the person who removed the phone, saw the vehicle and traced the plates to the owner. The person will be arrested for the theft.

A resident in the 1000 block of Hawthorn Road reported 11:04 p.m. Sept. 29 the theft of nine solar powered landscape lights from the home. The lights were valued at $75.

A resident in the 2900 block of Fairfield Drive reported 7:57 p.m. Sept. 26 an attempted theft of a bicycle from the roof of a car while he was inside his home starting dinner. The straps had been cut while he was inside the home.

Police were called to a motor vehicle accident in the 1300 block of Maryland Avenue 5:49 p.m. Sept. 30. Robert Kromer, 55, of Salisbury, was charged with allegedly hitting a garage door and a parked vehicle with his vehicle. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

While Salisbury police responded to a domestic dispute 1:30 a.m. Oct. 1 in the 1000 block of East Susquehanna Street, officers heard screeching tires and observed a black Mercedes sedan traveling westbound on Susquehanna Street. The vehicle, driven by Samantha Torres, 21, of Allentown, allegedly struck the right rear quarter panel of a Salisbury police car. Officers went to talk to Torres who allegedly displayed signs of intoxication. She was taken to Central Brooking. The incident is being investigated by Pennsylvania State Police, Bethlehem. The police vehicle was towed from the scene.
