Joshua Meitzler, 35, of Salisbury, was charged with alleged driving under the influence 10:40 a.m. Sept. 12 following a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Lehigh Avenue. Meitzler was taken to Central Booking for processing.
A cell phone left in the conference room of a diabetic center, 1234 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., was removed 1:25 p.m. Sept. 16. The cell phone is valued at $500.
A resident at DevonHouse Senior Living, 1930 Bevin Drive, reported 12:30 p.m. Sept. 17 the theft of an engagement ring and wedding band with diamonds valued at $2,700.
A Salisbury High School student attending a cross country meet at Salisbury Middle School, 3301 Devonshire Road, reported 9:30 a.m. Sept. 16 an unknown actor put water in the gas tank of the car preventing the car from starting.
A resident in the 700 block of East Tioga Street reported 11:09 a.m. Sept. 21 sometime overnight an unknown actor put paint remover on three vehicles– a Hummer, a BMW and a Range Rover.
A resident in the 1600 block of Broadway reported 11:25 a.m. Sept. 19 an unknown actor scratched and dented the rear driver’s side fender of a vehicle parked on the property.
Gino Saullo, 23, of Hazleton, was picked up by Salisbury police at the Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest 1 p.m. Sept. 20 after discovering Saullo was wanted by Luzerne County on a probation violation in Hazleton.
A resident working on his property in the 2300 block of Lehigh Parkway North was approached by two black males asking for money 2:37 p.m. Sept. 21. When the resident pulled out his wallet, the males grabbed it and took off. The wallet contained approximately $100 in cash and credit cards. The wallet was later found in the 1000 block of Newgate Drive with the credit cards and identification intact, however, the money was removed.
Scott Mazda Volvo Dealership, 3209 Lehigh St., reported 7:55 a.m. Sept. 22 a customer’s rear driver’s side wing window was broken sometime overnight.
A resident in the 1500 block of Paxford Road reported 6:30 p.m. Sept. 22 an unknown actor entered an unlocked home and removed an Xbox 360 valued at $120 and a watch valued at $20.
Paul Dannenhower, 60, of Salisbury, was issued a citation for criminal trespass 9:41 p.m. Sept. 22 after Dannenhower allegedly broke into an apartment after being evicted from the property. He was found hiding in the basement.
Francisco Negrete, 27, of Pottstown, was arrested 4:50 p.m. Sept. 22 following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Cedar Crest Blvd. Negrete allegedly gave his brother’s name and date of birth as it was discovered by police his registration was suspended.
A resident was reported missing approximately 11 a.m. Sept. 23 from the South Mall. A post on the Salibury Police Department’s Facebook page asked for residents’ assistance in locating the missing man. Thanks to a Facebook user, the missing man was found along Cedar Crest Boulevard by Riverbend Road 2 p.m. Salisbury fire inspectors and members of the Allentown Police Department assisted.
