State Rep. Gary Day, R-187th, invites senior citizens, family members and caregivers in his legislative district to his annual senior fair Oct. 1, at the Kutztown Fire Company, 301 Noble St., Kutztown.

Seniors can stop by the fire hall 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to learn more about programs and services available to them.

Information about health care, nutrition, consumer protection, long-term living and much more will be offered, with experts on hand to answer questions.

“This expo is a great way for senior citizens to learn about programs and services available right here in our own community,” Day said. “The best part is that everyone will be under one roof and seniors will be able to ask questions directly with the exhibitors on hand.”

Flu shots will also be available, and seniors should bring Medicare card information to receive the vaccinations.

Door prizes will be offered, and a free lunch will be served.
