Meet the Teacher Night at the middle school is set for 6:30-8:30 p.m., tonight, Sept. 17.

This event is a great opportunity for parents to visit their child’s school and meet with their child’s teachers.

Steckel Elementary School will hold a book fair Monday, Sept. 21 through Friday, Sept. 25. Students will bring home a flier of some of the great book selections that are going to be available.

Picture day at the middle school is set for Thursday, Sept. 24. Be sure to review the order form that your child will be bringing home.

Meet the Teacher Night at the Steckel building will be 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 24.

Parents are asked to not bring children to the event.

Picture day at Steckel is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 2. Students will be bringing home a more detailed flier and form for parents to review and place their orders.

An optional breakfast program is being offered this year. Beginning Monday, Oct. 5, students will have the opportunity to purchase a cold breakfast before the school day begins. Please watch for more details that will be sent home with your child.

The Whitehall-Coplay Parent Teacher Organization is newly reorganized this year. It will continue to provide numerous educational and cultural programs for the students. Many of the schools’ special events could not occur without the assistance and financial support of this organization. The PTO covers students in grades K through 12. During the upcoming weeks, parents will receive information about becoming members. Please enroll your family members. There are no commitments when you enroll, but volunteer opportunities are available.
