Kenneth P. Easterday, 93, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 4, 2015, at Fellowship Terrace, Whitehall. He was the husband of the late Florence (Owens) Easterday for 70 years.
Born in Cherryville, he was a son of the late Barton and Anna (Heiny) Easterday.
He was in the U.S. Army Air Corps in Europe and Africa during World War II and flew more than 50 missions with the 344th Bomber Squadron.
He was awarded a Purple Heart and a Silver Star.
He was an associate engineer for the production line with Western Electric/Lucent Technologies for 35 years.
He played harmonica.
He is survived by three sons, Kenneth P. Jr. and his wife Patricia of Exton, Terry L. and his wife Linda of Denver and Brian and his wife Gwen of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Virginia Owens of Fullerton; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Glenn, and a grandson, Jeffrey.
