Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center, next to Kutztown University, 22 Luckenbill Road, Kutztown, is having its Heemet Fescht (Home Festival) 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 26.

On the agenda are historic demonstrations, such as blacksmithing, tinsmithing, log hewing, hearth cooking, scherrenschnitte, hex sign painting, and more.

There will also be children’s crafts and activities, animals, antiques displays, great food, petting zoo, flea market, produce auction, harp music, history, storytelling and wagon rides.
