Local historian Joshua Arthur Fink will lead an end of summer cemetery tour 1:30 p.m. at Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road. The tour begins in the historic 1819 sanctuary of the church and then will move to the cemetery. The program will last approximately 90 minutes and will end with refreshments in the Chapel. The tour will held rain or shine. Lehigh Valley Health Network will recognize Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month with a special screening of the award-winning film “N.E.D. (No Evidence of Disease) The Movie.” The event is free and open to the public. The screening will take place 6 p.m. in the Kasych Family Pavilion Education Conference Center 6, 7 and 8 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township. N.E.D. (No Evidence of Disease) The Movie is a documentary featuring six gynecologic oncologists who have been able to integrate music to fight cancer. Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk 4 p.m. at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley. Light The Night Walk is a fundraising campaign of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society which brings together families and communities to honor blood cancer survivors, as well as those lost to the diseases and shine a light on the importance of finding cures and providing access to treatments for blood cancer patients. Friends, families and co-workers form fundraising teams and millions of consumers help by donating at retail outlets. These efforts culminate in inspirational, memorable evening walks in nearly 200 communities across North America each fall.
