Parkland Library offering events for teens, seniors

Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave, South Whitehall, is hosting teen game nights 7 p.m. on Sept. 7 and Sept. 8 for kids in grades seven to 12.

Senior Book Club will meet 3-4:30 p.m. Sept. 8 at Luther Crest Retirement Community, 800 Hausman Road, South Whitehall Township, to discuss the novel “The Invention of Wings” by Sue Monk Kidd.

The library is offering a flu clinic, sponsored by Walgreens Pharmacy, at a reduced cost noon Sept. 14 and 15 at the library.

Bring along a health insurance card.

The library’s book group for adults, Book Quest, is scheduled to meet 7-8 p.m. Sept. 16 at the library to chat about the novel “The Quilter’s Apprentice” by Jennifer Chiaverini.

New members are welcome to attend.

Orders must be placed by Sept. 6. Pick-up on Sept. 16.

Choose from either ham or Italian.
