Lehigh Valley Zoo will be giving away a zoo animals stationary set to the first 500 kids who visit the zoo Aug. 28.

Gates will open 10 a.m.

As a sponsor of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums' Saving Animals From Extinction program, Frito-Lay is distributing specially-marked variety packs that include a free child's pass to one of the participating zoos and aquariums.

Get your paws on a free kid's pass and bring it to Lehigh Valley Zoo through Sept. 18.

Christ's Church at the Lowhill Food Pantry, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, will be accepting donations to stock shelves 9-11 a.m. Aug. 29.
