LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Campers make cards for sick children

The last week of camp was full of fun and laughs from our campers at Cementon.

The first two days of the week started off inside due to the large amounts of rain.

On Tuesday, we went to the Roxy in Northampton. The movie we saw was "Inside Out." It was a Pixar movie that the kids and the counselors enjoyed very much.

The sun finally came out Wednesday, and we did our usual outside activities.

Our craft for the week was decorating homemade cards for sick children at Lehigh Valley Hospital's pediatric center. The kids loved the craft so much they made several cards.

On the last day of camp, both camps combined at Jefferson. The younger campers were able to play with the older ones, which was exciting. Lunch was provided, and we had a cookout. There was hamburger barbecue, fried chicken and more.

After lunch, we did "paper plate awards." The awards consisted of Best Dressed, Nicest Smile, etc.

Our Campers of the Week for Cementon were Aaron S. and Natalie D. The Campers of the Summer were Brader B. and Nicole R.

This summer was very successful for Camp Whitehall, and we are all looking forward to next year.
