DUI

Rachel Hildebrand, 18, of Emmaus is charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and drug possession along Quarry Road at Quarry Park, Lower Macungie Township, 9:17 p.m. Aug. 5. According to police, Hildebrand and a 17-year-old youth, of Macungie, who was with Hildebrand allegedly were found to have small amounts of marijuana.

Theft from motor vehicle

Reported by a resident in the 7000 block of Tuscany Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered a vehicle and removed a purse and checkbook cover between 1 and 6 a.m. July 10. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported in the 6300 block of Pinecrest Lane, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors removed a silver Lenovo laptop computer between 11:30 p.m. July 30 and 8 a.m. July 31. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported in the 7000 block of Hunt Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors removed the license plate from a vehicle overnight Aug. 5. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported in the 3800 block of Rittenhouse Lane, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown actor entered an unlocked vehicle and took various items between 8:20 p.m. July 27 and 8 a.m. July 28. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Retail theft

Annastazia Byard, 25, of Linnwood and Sandra Lawrence, 49, of Allentown were arrested at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, after they allegedly concealed in a handbag merchandise valued at $96.45 and left the store without paying for the items 2:03 p.m. Aug. 1. Charges were filed at District Court 31-3-02.

Charles Michael Rademacher, 30, of Emmaus, was charged with retail theft after he allegedly took clothing items and cologne from Kohl's department store, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, July 8. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.

Harassment

Marcus George Dengler, 20, of Macungie, was issued a citation for harassment after he allegedly sent electronic communication messages and made verbal statements to a 36-year-old woman in the 5000 block of Spring Ridge Drive, E., Lower Macungie Township, 2 p.m. Aug. 10.
