Lower Macungie Garden Club meeting and program 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lower Macungie Community Center, Brookside Road. The program entitled "Preserving the Season" will include the process to make jams, jellies, chutney, pickles as well as information on food dehydrators and freezing vegetables from the garden. The 54th Annual Muhlenberg Summer Festival at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. The festival will be held on the north side of the hospital campus near Routes 22 and 378. Each night of the four-day festival will include special activities for children in "KiddieLand," such as balloon creations, face painting, a duck pond and more. Free bicycle safety event at Emmanuel EC Church, 75 E. Union Blvd, Bethlehem. The church is partnering with the Bethlehem Health Bureau and the Coalition for Appropriate Transportation to host the event 10 a.m. to noon.
