Picnic planned for Call alumni

Morning Call alumni are invited to Club 30's annual picnic Sept. 2, noon-3 p.m., at the Fullerton Memorial Playground building, 901 Jefferson St., Whitehall, behind Toys 'R Us on Grape Street.

Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring a fun gift ($1-2) in a small paper bag for bingo as well as a nonperishable food item for the food bank.

The event is catered, but desserts are appreciated.

For reservations, send a check for $10 per person made out to Club 30 by Aug. 20 to Dolores Reaman, 929 Fifth St., Whitehall, PA 18052.
