stolen from garage

According to a police report received July 28, State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 61-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman reported various items including an Apple Macintosh laptop, Apple iPhone 5C lime green in color, and other miscellanous items were stolen sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. June 29, from their vehicles after entry was made to a garage at their home in the 6100 block of Molasses Road, Lowhill Township.

Anyone with information about this theft is asked to contact state police at 610-395-1438.

Vehicle overturns

in Lynn Twp

According to a police report received July 30, Catherine R. Osborne, 26, of Walnutport, was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier when it struck a light pole and rolled over 3:31 p.m. June 30 at 8337 Kings Highway, Lynn Township, say State Police Troop M Fogelsville.

According to police, the car was traveling straight in the eastbound lane of Kings Highway when it crossed over into the westbound lane and went over the curb.

The car then struck a landscaping brick wall with its front bumper and driver's side quarter panel before it drove up a light pole and rolled over and came to final rest.

Police say Osborne, who was not wearing her seat belt, sustained minor injuries and was transported by Cetronia Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Traffic citations were filed against Osborne with District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington, for driving vehicle at an unsafe speed and careless driving , police say.

Troopers Jeremy Temple, Christian Bleiler and Mirzet Sadikovic and Soley's Towing assisted at the scene.

Picnic table stolen

in Weisenberg Twp

State Police Troop M Fogelsville allege a woman from Fogelsville stole a small picnic table sometime between 3 p.m. July 29 and 8 a.m. the next day from Shawn Cougle, 9801 Davies Drive, Weisenberg Township.

Police say his vehicle was also damaged.

This incident remains under investigation, police say.
