LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Campers cool offat Camel Beach

It was another awesome week at Camp Jefferson! Week six was bursting with lots of laughs and sunshine.

The heat was overwhelming so we kept the campers in the shade on Monday. We played games like night at the museum, silent ball and battle ball, which is always a crowd favorite.

We went on our field trip to Camel Beach on Tuesday. The weather was perfect for a day full of fast water rides and fun in the wave pool.

As Wednesday rolled round, our campers strolled in tired and sore, which made the day very relaxed. We played sleepy sleepy lions and chiefs and Indians and created our weekly craft. Because our theme this week was a beach theme, our campers had the option to create a paper plate whale. They used scissors and glue to construct their whales and then had the option to paint and decorate their individual product.

Thursday was another very hot day. Our campers enjoyed Capture the Flag, Movie Mania and handball that morning in the shade. Then, after lunch, our campers participated in Splash Out. It was a great way to cool down before the pool.

Friday was spent outside with a big game of kickball and fastest in the west.

With week six coming to a close, we announced Camp J-Street's Campers of the Week, Corey M. and Annalise.
