State Police Troop M Reading are investigating a retail theft that occurred 2 p.m. to midnight June 23 at the Giant market, 15260 Kutztown Road, Maxatawny Township, Berks County.

Police say a white male wearing a white dress shirt, Eagles baseball cap, black dress pants, black socks and sandals and a black and white tie, entered the store and allegedly stole several health and beauty and grocery items without paying for them.

The man then fled in an unknown direction.
