A flashback to the '70s was the theme at Camp Jefferson this week. The campers took part in various indoor and outdoor games, created colorful masterpieces and showed off their archery skills.
The kids had a great time and lots of fun despite some midweek rain and muggy weather.
On Monday, the boys and girls stayed busy playing knock-out, silent ball, human pinball, elbow tag, night at the museum and sleeping lions.
After lunch, Camp Cementon joined everyone for the pool.
Tuesday morning activities included survivor, musical chairs, jump the river, and dodge ball. In the afternoon, Camp Jefferson went on their field trip to Archery Addictions in Walnutport.
There, the campers enjoyed shooting balloons at targets and participating in a game of intense archery tag.
On Wednesday the campers tie-dyed shirts, tanks, and socks as part of the weekly craft.
Each article of clothing turned out unique and cool!
Thursday's weather was clammy and humid.
The kids relaxed with some free time along with a handball tournament.
To wrap up the week, Friday's activities included capture the flag, a relay race, hungry giant and hand ball.
Campers of the week were also announced and awarded to Erin S. and Cole G.
Great job to these two!
Week three was a huge success.
More excitement and fun is to come in week four.
