Evelyn H. Moyer, 82, of Mertztown, died July 9, 2015, in Mosser Nursing Home, Upper Macungie Township.

She was the wife of the late Charles F. Moyer.

Born in Mertztown, she was the daughter of the late Stanley J. and Hilda S. (Snyder) Smith.

Affectionately known as the "Egg Lady," she along with her late husband operated an egg and potato stand at Renninger's Market for 36 years.

They also had a huckster route in Allentown and Alburtis.

A custodian for the Brandywine School District, she worked at Royal Manufacturing, Alburtis.

She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ and the Lyons Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Her survivors include a son Harold and his wife Darla; and grandsons, Eric and his wife, Elisa; and Mark.

Her services will be 11 a.m. July 18, at Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville.

The calling hour will be 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Lehigh Zion Cemetery.
