STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Q: What grade are you in?
A: I just completed 12th grade at Emmaus High School.
Q: What was your favorite subject? Why?
A: My favorite subject was economics because it is a lot of math and I enjoy applying math to figure out the way our economy works.
Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A: I was on the Principal's Honor Roll and in National Honor Society.
Q: Were you involved in any extracurricular activities?
A: I was vice president of the Student Government Association at Emmaus and a member of National Honor Society.
Q: What is your next goal after high school?
A: My next goal after graduating from high school is earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville.
Q: What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?
A: My biggest challenge so far has been trying to balance myself between schoolwork, my extracurricular activities and my job.
Q: What do you want to be remembered for?
A: I want to be remembered for my optimistic attitude.
Q: Who is in your family?
A: My family includes my parents, Agnes and Amp, my brother Darek, my sister Roxy and my dog Misiek.
Q: Do you have someone you look up to?
A: I look up to my sister Roxy because I am so proud of everything she has accomplished and I hope one day I can be as successful as she is.
Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?
A: My advice to my peers would be to stop trying to rush through life. It is important to stop and enjoy the little things sometimes.
