Christopher James Stafford, 33, of Orefield, was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after an alleged traffic stop along Interstate 78 eastbound at Exit 59, Summit Lawn, Salisbury Township, 2:14 a.m. July 4. Charges were filed through District Court 31-1-08.

Susan Renee Underwood, 32, of Martinsburg, W. Va., was charged with driving under the influence after a trooper stopped to check on a vehicle parked on the shoulder of Interstate 78 east at mile marker 56.3, Salisbury Township, July 4. Police determined Underwood to allegedly be on federal probation out of West Virginia and she was not authorized to be in Pennsylvania.
