LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the Editor:

I live at the intersection of the Route 222 Bypass and Krocks Road, the area where the new shopping center is to go.

On July 10, I woke up to heavy equipment. They were removing part of the berm and all the trees PennDOT had planted for our privacy when the bypass went in.

I made some panicky calls to Lower Macungie Township.

Scott Booth, who oversees the entire construction and an engineer for Keystone came to our lot.

OOPS, it was a mistake.

Privacy gone.

Trees gone.

My trust in any and all the individuals who were in the know......gone.

So now, we wait.

Yes, they will be replaced. All was not necessary.

When will we respect the individuals directly impacted by this overwhelming urge to build to the point there is no land left?

Construction wary,

Judy Noggle
