Delaware-Lehigh Amateur Radio Club will hold its meeting 7:30 p.m. in the Bethlehem Township Community Center, 2900 Farmersville Road, Bethlehem. July 11

Alburtis Lockridge Historical Society annual summer open house 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also July 12. During this two-day event, tours of the Thomas Iron Works at Lock Ridge will be given noon and 3 p.m. The tours will leave the 1870 Lock Ridge Memorial Presbyterian Church promptly. Visitors are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes, dress accordingly and bring cameras. In the case of rain, the tour will be cancelled. Call 484-366-9987 for reservations. The event is free, but donations are appreciated. Light refreshments always served.

The Emmaus Arts Commission will hold its third annual "Chalk the Walk" 9 a.m. to noon on sidewalks around Triangle Park. Chalk the Walk is the local version of an Italian street painting festival. Artists are given a block on which to showcase their artwork using chalk or pastels. There is an entrance fee and artists are required to pre-register. The silent auction on the Emmaus Arts Commission's Rain Barrel Art is underway. Final bids will be taken beginning 9 a.m. at the Chalk the Walk event. The barrels will be awarded to the highest bidders 11 a.m. For information, visit www. emmausarts. org/rain-barrel-art-silent-auction.

Vacation Bible School at Horizon Church Ranch 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. through July 17, 2613 W. South St., Allentown. Youth ages five through fifth grade are invited to saddle up and head on over for music, games, crafts and snacks. There is no charge to attend. Project Lifesaver/ T.R.I.A.D. will meet 3 p.m. at Lehigh County Center for Active Life, 1633 W. Elm St., Allentown. The program will feature Alicia Kittle-Burk, AU.D., of Hear PA Audiology, speaking about audiology issues. President Martha Lieberman will share information regarding the latest developments within Project Lifesaver/ T.R.I.A.D.

Chuck Wendig will be at Let's Play Books, 379 Main St., Emmaus 6 p.m. for the launch of THE HARVEST, the final book in the Heartland Trilogy. Tickets are available at www.letsplaybooks.com.
