Volunteers from Western Salisbury Fire Department and EMS crews from Cetronia Ambulance respond to a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 78 eastbound recently. A tractor trailer and three vehicles were involved in the accident that shut down two eastbound lanes, causing traffic to backup past Hamilton Boulevard. Several people were transported to the hospital for treatment. Fire police from Lower Macungie fire department also assisted with traffic control.
