iPhone 6 stolen
from truck
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Donald Lahr of Kutztown, reported his black iPhone 6 was stolen 3 a.m. June 16 from his unsecured truck at the Bandit Truck Stop, 2277 Golden Key Road, Weisenberg Township.
Anyone with information about this theft is asked to contact police at 610-395-1438.
Vases stolen
from cemetery
State Police Troop M Bethlehem say approximately 12 brass tombstone flower vases measuring 1-foot by 4-inches in diameter were stolen sometime between 6 p.m. June 11 and 10 a.m. June 13 from Slatedale Cemetery, 8648 Brown St., Washington Township.
Anyone with information about this theft is asked to call state police at 610-861-2026.
Charges filed
against driver
State Police Troop M Fogelsville allege Edwin Rodriguez Figueroa, 49, of New Tripoli swerved his vehicle at a 51-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman 6:20 p.m. May 3 while they were walking in the area of 7545 Decatur St., Lynn Township.
Charges were filed with District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington.
Vehicle overturns
in Lynn Township
Richard N. George, 65, of Schnecksville was driving a 1991 Chevrolet 1500 when it overturned onto its roof 3:39 p.m. June 22 on Gun Club Road, Lynn Township, say State Police Troop M Fogelsville.
According to police, the truck was southbound on Gun Club Road, south of Route 309, when it entered the right west shoulder of the roadway with its passenger side.
Police say the roadway is posted at 25 mph.
The truck traveled approximately 68 feet south and struck a retention cable on the west shoulder of the roadway, before becoming airborne, hitting a tree and overturning at its final point of rest.
Police say George, who was using his seat belt, was extricated from his vehicle and transported by Cetronia Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. George was charged with a traffic violation, police say.
Troopers Temple and Kowalishen along with Germansville, Lynnport, New Tripoli fire companies and Yocum Towing assisted at the scene.
