STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q: What grade are you in?

A: I am a 2015 graduate of Emmaus High School.

Q: What was your favorite subject? Why?

A: My favorite subject was A.P. Studio Art because it encouraged me to express my own ideas and share them with others. I also enjoyed seeing the amazing artwork my classmates created.

Q: Did you receive any special awards or recognition?

A: I was EHS's Scholar Athlete for both cross-country and track and field, in addition to being a captain of both teams. I have also won several Scholastic Art Awards for my artwork.

Q: Were you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A: I was a member of National Honor Society and German Honor Society. I also ran cross-country and track.

Q: What is your next goal after high school?

A: After high school, I plan to graduate from college with a degree in graphic design.

Q: What would you say your biggest challenge has been so far?

A: The biggest challenge of my high school career has been balancing academics and athletics. Both demand so much time, so I had to learn how to be more efficient with my time management.

Q: What do you want to be remembered for?

A: I would like to be remembered for my artwork, my contributions to the cross country and track and field teams and my ability to make people smile, or cringe when I tell a bad joke.

Q: Who is in your family?

A: My family consists of my parents, John and Shelley, and my brother, Johnny.

Q: Do you have someone you look up to?

A: I look up to my parents. They are have always been there for me, and without them, I wouldn't be who I am today.

Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?

A: Have a good sense of humor and a positive attitude. Don't stress, everything works out in the end.
