Burglary

The Salisbury Township Police Department is investigating a burglary reported 9:21 a.m. June 10 at Bird Mania, 3235 W. Emmaus Ave. The exterior door to the business was locked and secure. It appears an unknown actor forcibly entered the business through an east side window which was pried open. Entry to the business was made sometime between 9 p.m. June 9 and 9:21 a.m. June 10. A total of 15 exotic birds were removed for a total value of $8,950. Stolen were two Alexandrian parakeets, one Durbyan parakeet, three Yellow Indian Ringnecks, one Normal Greencheek Conure, two Sun Conures, one Black Cap Conure, three Canary Wing parakeets, one African Grey and one Cinnamon Greencheek Conure. These birds are very young and need to be hand-fed; these feeding procedures are vital to their survival. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police at 610-797-1447 or Lehigh County Radio at 610-437-5252.

A resident in the 2900 block of Edgemont Drive reported 12:09 p.m. May 31 finding the front door pried open but nothing was missing from the home.

Four gauge wire was stolen from an AT&T Wireless tower, 3300 Lehigh St., 12:42 p.m. June 3.

Attempted theft

A homeowner in the 3000 block of Imperial Drive reported coming home 10:24 p.m. May 30 to find two individuals going through vehicles on the property. The individuals fled.

A car in for service at the Scott Mazda Volvo dealership, 3209 Lehigh St., 9:58 a.m. June 8 was entered but nothing was removed.

Disturbance

A customer parked at the UPS Store, 3440 Lehigh St. approximately 4 p.m. June 3 and returned at 4:26 p.m. to find an iPhone missing. The driver's side door was unlocked. The phone is valued at $200.

Criminal mischief

A student threw paint all over the seats on a Paragon Transit bus 3:08 p.m. June 3. The school has been notified for disciplinary proceedures.

Theft from vehicle

A school provided laptop was removed from a student's car 9 a.m. June 4. The laptop is valued at $1,038.

Disorderly conduct

Edward Pam, 26, of Syracuse, NY, received a citation for driving with a suspended license and a traffic citation for disorderly conduct following a traffic stop where an alleged odor of marijuana was detected 2:43 p.m. June 5.

A 13-year-old female was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct following an alleged incident at Salisbury Middle School 8:50 a.m. June 9.

Drug

A small black bag was found at Lehigh Valley Health Network, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., by the security department 7:38 a.m. June 10. The bag contained a white substance and drug paraphernalia.

Theft

Two bikes were removed from a home in the 1200 block of Potomac Street 10:50 a.m. June 10.

A rock was thrown, damaging the front passenger side window of a vehicle 7:32 a.m. June 11. The unknown actor removed a lunch.

Flee/elude police

Shaequawn Watson, 26, of Allentown, was charged with fleeing and eluding police and disorderly conduct 7:44 a.m. June 11 following an alleged traffic stop and vehicle pursuit. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.
