stolen from bike

Police say Brent Merkel, 6934 Route 873, Washington Township, reported his license plate was stolen sometime between 2 p.m. May 24 and 8 a.m. the next day from his motorcycle, which it was parked outside his home.

School bus aide

punched, slapped

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 12-year-old Allentown boy allegedly punched and slapped a school bus aide from Walnutport 2:46 p.m. on May 27 at Lehigh Learning and Achievement Center, 2936 Corporate Court, Lowhill Township.

Women involved

in altercation

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Grace Kellen Baker, 18, and a 53-year-old woman were allegedly involved in a verbal altercation around 11:35 p.m. May 21 at a home in the 2900 block of Grundsau Court, Weisenberg Township.

The altercation occurred in the second floor doorway to Baker's bedroom regarding her alleged controlled substance addiction, police say.

Police say as the verbal altercation ensued, Baker allegedly approached the 53-year-old woman and proceeded to push her with two hands to her chest area, resulting in her falling into a wall next to the adjacent hallway area.

Baker and the woman than separated, at which time the woman contacted state police.

According to police, the woman sustained a minor muscle injury with soreness to her right shoulder.

Baker was un injured, police say.

Charges have been filed with District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington.

Tools stolen

from shed

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Michael Skepton reported various tools were stolen sometime between noon May 21 and 9:30 a.m. the next day from a locked shed at 4102 Main St., Washington Township.
