The picnic time is here again, and many people come.
Then people ask, "Oh, what is this?" Nothing but children playing. The men are dressed up nicely, the grownups and the youngsters. The women are also ready, we like to see them all.

Northwestern Lehigh High School band is having a spring flower sale in the high school parking lot, 6493 Route 309, New Tripoli, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 13.
All proceeds go to the band. Plants have been donated by a local greenhouse. Annuals and perennials are represented. This is a good time to add to your flower beds and enjoy their beauty throughout the summer.

Ziegels Union Church, 9999 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will have its annual Sunday School picnic, rain or shine, June 13. Refreshment stand opens 4 p.m. Entertainment will be presented 6-9 p.m. by the Jesse Wade Gang.

Picnic on the Hill will take place from 2-6 p.m. June 20 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2096 Independent Road, Brein-igsville.
Featured music will be by Heaven's Thunder.
Cupcake the clown and Andy the Ambulance will attend.
There will be a moon bounce for the kids and Miller-Keystone Bloodmobile will be present for blood donations.
Everything is free including the food, so bring lawn chairs and enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship.

Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society, 4585 Werleys Corner Road, New Tripoli, will host a genealogy workshop 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on June 13.
Learn how to research your family, share ideas, make new friendships, and have some fun. No need to be computer literate, or if you do have a laptop, bring it with you. Stay as long as you wish.
Bring beverages, snacks and brown bag lunch if you'd like. Wi-Fi is available as well.

Son Harvest County Fair is the theme for this year's Vacation Bible School 8:45-11:45 a.m. June 22-26 at Ziegels Union Church, 9999 Ziegels Church Road, Brein-igsville.
Children will grow a crop of love, sprout joy, plant peace, produce some patience, and pick a bushel of kindness through examples of Jesus. Kids ages 3 through sixth grade are welcome to attend.
