May 27

GFWC PA Women's Club of Emmaus' annual spring luncheon at Brookside Country Club, 901 Willow Lane, Macungie. The club will celebrate its 75th anniversary. Social hour 11:30 a.m. to noon. Lunch served noon. There is a cost. Reservations can be made by calling 610-707-4905. Entertainment will include songs of the past 75 years.

Citizens Fire Company #2 community carnival through May 30, 1017-21 Pennsylvania Ave., Emmaus. Wristband specials May 27 and 30. All nights begin 6 p.m. with the exception of May 30 with a 5 p.m. start. For more information, call 610-965-9222. The carnival includes food, games, rides and live entertainment.

The Upper Milford Historical Society meeting will be held 7 p.m. in the Upper Milford Township Building, Old Zionsville. The Emmaus High School Chamber Orchestra will perform in a community concert 7 p.m. at The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit in Emmaus. Admission is free.

St. John's United Church of Christ, 139 N. Fourth St., Emmaus, flea market: with attic treasures old and new 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. A bake sale and food will also be available. The event will be held rain or shine. For more information, call Linda at 610-966-1459.

Allentown AARP Chapter #5415 will meet noon at St. Timothy's Church, 140 S. Ott St., Allentown. The program will be Roger and his Broadway dancers. Non-members and guests are welcome. Bring a non-perishable food item for the Allentown FoodBank. For more information, call 610-437-4265.

The Lehigh Valley Chapter, Executive Women International will hold its monthly meeting at the Artisan Wine Bar, 55 W. Lehigh St., Bethlehem. The guest speaker is Connie Challingsworth, owner of "Postive Life Decisions." The Kiwanis Club of Emmaus' 42nd annual pancake and sausage breakfast 8 a.m. to noon at Emaus Fire Company #1, Sixth and Broad streets, Emmaus. There is a charge. Children under age 10 eat free. Price includes all the pancakes you can eat. For tickets and further information, call 610-395-4818.

The Boots and Saddle Riding Club's Sunday Horse Show season starts 9 a.m. Admission is free to the public. Several items will be raffled off and a concession stand is available. The event will be held at 2850 Fish Hatchery Road, Allentown. For information, call 610-797-2922.

Lower Macungie Township in partnership with Pennsylvania CareerLink Lehigh Valley will host a job fair 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Meet with representatives from local companies. June 13

Old Zionsville UCC yard sale 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine. Food will be available for purchase along with a free bounce house and free games for the children. Old-fashioned breakfast buffet at Old Zionsville UCC Church, 5981 Fountain Road, Old Zionsville, 7 to 11 a.m. There is a charge for the all-you-can-eat breakfast; children under age six eat free.
