Student earns degree/honors

Area students earn awards
Local students are among academic award recipients, scholarship winners and university scholars recently recognized in ceremonies at the Lehigh Valley campus.
Elisa Yardley, of Macungie, was among students who received the 2015 President's Freshman Award; Joseph Hutzayluk, of Emmaus, was among students who received the 2015 President Sparks Award; and Lauren Miller, of Emmaus, was awarded the Outstanding Student Teacher of the Year award.
Those recognized for the highest cumulative average by college included Elisa Yardley, of Macungie, who was recognized for highest cumulative average in the division of undergraduate studies; Lauren Miller, of Emmaus, who was recognized for highest cumulative average in education; and Joseph Hutzayluk, of Emmaus, who was recognized for highest cumulative average in engineering.
