Allentown Police Sgt. Ed Zucal, a Democrat, garnered an unofficial 8,852 votes in Tuesday's primary, according to the Lehigh County Voter Registration Office.

Joe Hanna, a Republican, is a detective with the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office.

Hanna received an unofficial 10,263 votes in the May 19 primary.

The names of both candidates will be on the ballot for their respective parties in the Nov. 3 Municipal Election.
