Gockley Elementary School's open house is scheduled for tonight, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
All families and friends are invited to visit the school.
In addition to visiting the classrooms, there will be a basket raffle to raise funds for new playground equipment.
The PTSA will also sell refreshments and school spirit wear and hold a Hugs for Teachers fundraiser.

Kindergarten and first-grade transfer registrations are under way.
The Whitehall-Coplay School District has implemented centralized registration for all incoming students. To register your child, contact the registration office at 610-437-4780, ext. 1014 to schedule an appointment.
Kindergarten registration for the 2015-16 school year is now open. Child must be 5 years old before Sept. 1, 2015.

Volunteers are needed for Children's Day activities.
This is an annual PTSA-sponsored event and a favorite for the students. This year's themed activities are based on the Disney movie "Frozen."
The PTSA is looking for parent volunteers to help with the stations.

First-grade Springfest will take place Thursday, June 4.
Each first-grade class will perform one song in the school cafeteria. The first-graders must return to their classrooms after this performance.
First-grade parents are invited to attend this performance. Be sure to park in the football field parking lot and enter through the side door by the gym.

The 2015 Zephyr boys' basketball camp will be held from June 29 to July 2 for boys entering grades 3 through 9.
The camp will be held at Whitehall High School from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
The camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball, hone team and individual skills and have fun.
Each day will include instruction, games, skill building, lectures and competitions. Boys will be grouped according to age, size and ability.
The camp is run by the high school boys' basketball coaching staff.
