Coroner Scott M. Grim, a Democrat, was unchallenged in Tuesday's primary election.

Grim was seeking his party's nomination for a fifth term in office.

According to unofficial Lehigh County Voter Registration Office results, Grim garnered 11,111 to have his name placed on the Nov. 3 Municipal Election ticket.

The coroner's main responsibility is to justify the cause and manner of death of persons who die within his jurisdiction.

Grim is a lifelong resident of Allentown with his wife, Ann.
