Congratulations to Adam Dumbach, a Siegfried Elementary School student, and Briella Pangaio, a Moore Elementary School student, who received honorable mentions in the Pennsylvania Dental Association's annual third-grade poster contest.
They were among the top 10 entries in the state, chosen from nearly 150 posters submitted.

Tomorrow, the 11th-graders will be presenting their high school graduation projects.
There is no school for students in grades 9, 10 and 12 on Friday, May 22.

Schools will be closed Monday, May 25 for the Memorial Day holiday. Schools will be back in session Tuesday, May 26. Have a safe and happy holiday with family and friends.

The Borough PTA meeting will be held Tuesday, May 26 at the Siegfried building. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.

The elementary band recital will be performed at Moore Elementary School tomorrow, beginning at 7 p.m.
The elementary string recital will be held at Moore Thursday, May 28, beginning at 7 p.m.

Schools will be in session Tuesday, June 2 through Tuesday, June 9 for kindergarten through 11th grade.
The following days will now be full days of school for all students: Wednesday, May 27, Thursday, May 28, Friday May 29, Monday, June 1, Tuesday, June 2, and Wednesday, June 3.
The following days will be early dismissal days (10:35 a.m. for secondary students and noon for elementary and Washington's Crossing students): Thursday, June 4, Friday, June 5, Monday, June 8 and Tuesday, June 9.
The 2015 graduation ceremony will still be held Saturday, June 6 at 4 p.m. at Stabler Arena on the Lehigh University campus.
An in-service records day will be held on Wednesday, June 10 for staff members. There is no school for students on this day.

The Konkrete Kids Educational Foundation's Buy a Brick fundraiser is under way.
Visit the school's website to find out how you can support the foundation by having your name engraved on a brick paver.
The pavers will be placed in the plaza outside the entrance of Al Erdosy Stadium and the new swimming pool adjacent to the high school's rear parking lot.

Camp Invention is coming to the district this summer.
The camp is a four-day summer enrichment program that focuses on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) through inquiry-based, hands-on activities.
The program is available to district students in fourth through sixth grades.
