Martin on ticket in November

Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin, a Republican, was unchallenged in the May 19 primary election for another four-year term in office.

Martin, who has been district attorney since January 1998 when he was appointed by Lehigh County Commissioners to succeed Judge Robert L. Steinberg, garnered an unofficial 10,229 votes, according to the Lehigh County Voter Registration Office.

He was elected to four-year terms in 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011.

He resides with his wife Patricia in Center Valley.
