Maria L. DeMatos, 81, of Bethlehem, died May 10, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospice House. Born in Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Joaquim and Marianna (Rebimbas) Lopes. She was the wife of the late Edward V. DeMatos for 40 years.

She was a parishioner of Assumption B.V.M. Church, Colesville.

She is survived by a son, Jack and his wife Donna; two daughters, Angie and her husband Robert Carosiello and Beth and her husband Christopher Grys; six grandchildren: Marianne and her husband Dr. Michael Gorski, Stephen and Jaclyn DeMatos, Cristina Carosiello, and Gabrielle and Meghan Grys; and a sister, Delores and her husband Tom Anderson.
