The Anniversary Committee of Jacob's Church is selling 250th anniversary books.
Anyone who is interested in purchasing the book is welcome to attend a church service to purchase the book. Services begin at 10:15 a.m.
Books will be available in the parlor area.

The second annual Kempton Pepper Jam will take place, rain or shine, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. May 23 and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. May 24 at Kempton Community Center, 83 Community Drive, Kempton. The event will take place rain or shine.
Centered around chili peppers, the fest will feature delicious creations made with some heat as well as a some choices for the "not-so-hot crowd."
More than 50 vendors will offer samplings of hot sauces, salsas, mustards, jams, nuts, spice mixes, infused salts, dried pastas and pretzels.
There will be pulled pork, grilled shrimp, smoked brisket, barbecue chicken, steak sandwiches, french fries, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken tenders, pizza and more.
There will be music acts, craft vendors and children's activities.
Team "Fire Eaters" will host the two pepper eating contests and there will be chicken wing eating contests, an "Assault on your Senses" food challenge, a five-course dinner of the most disturbing, disgusting and strange foods found on earth.
Leashed and well behaved dogs are welcome.

New Life Lutheran Church, 6804 Weiss Road, New Tripoli, is having a basket social and flea market 9 a.m.-2 p.m. May 30 to benefit the families of Csala Beers and Adam Recke.
Beers was paralyzed in an auto accident earlier this year on the same street where her husband was paralyzed in an accident 12 years ago.
Together, they face mounting medical bills and necessary modifications to their North Whitehall home to accommodate two wheelchairs.
Recke is a 15-year-old Bethlehem student who suffers from Niemann-Pick Disease Type C, also known as childhood Alzheimer's disease.
Experimental treatments are currently uninsured.
Food, beverages, and baked goods will be available throughout the event.
Basket drawing begins 2 p.m.
