Through a grant awarded by the National Science Foundation, Lehigh Carbon Community College is holding its fifth Annual Edugaming I Workshop for middle school through college teachers on the LCCC Schnecksville campus.

The workshop will be held June 22 through June 25 and Nov. 14, 2015. Participants who complete all five days of the workshop will be paid $500.

Through hands-on activities and presentations from educators and industry experts, participants will learn a variety of game design approaches that remove the "quiz" aspect of educational games and replace it with exploratory, engaging techniques.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided daily to all participants. Space is limited, and an application is required. No previous experience with game design is necessary.
