S.T.E.P., the volunteer group of parents in the East Penn School District sponsor the senior afterball party each year to encourage youth to have fun without the use of drugs or alcohol. Members of S.T.E.P. include parents, teachers, administrators and citizens. The afterball is an all-night party including food, a casino, games and more. The event is staffed by volunteers, all ensuring the students have fun. The theme this year of the senior afterball is "The Great Beyond" including a space spa.
